Laeveld Legislative Training has developed the most effective and affordable OSHA compliant rigger/signalperson training programs in the market today. Our experience in mobile crane operator, rigger, and signalperson training gives you the optimum level of expert instruction, written and practical testing, documentation, and record keeping.

The  Laeveld Legislative Training   rigger training programs will qualify or certify your rigging/signalperson personnel to meet the new OSHA crane mandate and improve the skills, knowledge and safety consciousness of those personnel.

The Career Services Department provides students and graduates from ATS with tools, resources, and assistance that are invaluable in making the dream of being a heavy equipment operator, crane operator, or commercial truck driver a reality!

Personal Career Counseling

The National Career Services Coordinator begins working personally with students during the first week of training. Each student is given an entrance interview to determine their industries of interest and career goals, along with the geographical area they will be seeking employment. The National Career Services Coordinator then provides each student with a packet containing a list of potential employers in their target area, along with other helpful documentation concerning their training and skills.

Need help in your job search? The National Career Services Coordinator is available five days per week as a resource to all students and graduates who need assistance in their employment search. Furthermore, the coordinator will follow up with the graduate to provide any necessary continued assistance.

Soft Skills Training

While in school, students will receive training in skills essential to "nailing the interview" and "landing the job." These skills include employment application procedures, interviewing techniques, networking methods, and more.

Directional Drill Training

It is no surprise the growth in construction and telecommunications throughout America has led to an increased need to bury fiber optics, electrical lines, water pipes, sewer lines, etc. Further, the use of a backhoes or excavators isn't always practical, feasible or economical, due to existing hazards or terrain. That leaves Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) as the most efficient option and the fastest-growing type of equipment for utilities, municipalities, contractors and the communications industry. CRANE OPERATOR CERTIFICATION

Laeveld Legislative Training offers Crane Operator Certification as a service separate to our regular training programs. We certify for mobile, overhead and tower cranes. Our certification is designed to meet or exceed the requirements for federal, state and provincial regulatory bodies, including OSHA, OH&S and MSHA. Furthermore, it is based on the growing need for a standardized approach to crane operator certification and regulatory compliance now being enforced throughout many jurisdictions.

A cross-section of some specific elements that are covered within our certification exams consist of, but are not limited to:
